was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He completed his B.Sc in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto in 1995. Afterwards, he continued on at the University of Toronto , and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree in 1999. Upon graduation, Dr. Hewitt moved to northern Ontario and worked for the Sioux Lookout Zone Hospital. There, he worked at the hospital clinic, in the operating room with an anaesthesiologist, as well as travelling and providing dental services to the most northern Indigenous communities of Ontario, all the way up to Hudson Bay. In 2003 Dr. Hewitt decided to enter private practice, and has run his office in Thorold since then. Dr. Hewitt strives to provide patient-centered, comprehensive care. He continues to enrich his knowledge by continually taking dental courses every year, as do his staff. This allows them to provide the most up to date care for the patients.
